Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the Events & Partnerships Manager at Opus Training Limited, you will own and elevate the company’s presence in the service industry by managing end-to-end conference logistics and building a strategic partner program that drives referral business and co-marketing impact. This role is pivotal in transforming Opus’s established conference footprint into a scalable, relationship-driven growth engine that aligns with the company’s mission to empower frontline workers through AI-powered training.
- • Day to day, you will: own all logistics for conferences and events Opus attends or hosts, including venue selection, travel coordination, booth setup, and post-event follow-up; represent Opus as the face of the company at select industry events, engaging attendees, collecting insights, and nurturing relationships in real time; identify, outreach to, and onboard L&D consultants, operations advisors, and franchise consultants as referral partners, developing personalized engagement strategies; manage the full partner lifecycle — from initial contact to ongoing relationship stewardship — using CRM and tracking tools to monitor engagement, referral activity, and co-marketing opportunities; maintain a dynamic partner ecosystem map that tracks engagement levels, identifies gaps, and prioritizes next steps for activation; and co-create intentional, high-value activations such as partner-hosted dinners, breakfasts, webinars, and joint research initiatives that serve mutual business objectives and leave a lasting impression.
- • You will join a mission-driven team of industry veterans and tech operators at Opus Training Limited, a remote-first company dedicated to transforming frontline work through intelligent training solutions. The company has already established credibility through authentic collaborations like the Hospitality Training 360 Report with CHART and is expanding its footprint across restaurant, hospitality, and service industry events. You’ll be part of a culture that values showing up with intention — the right venue, the right message, the right follow-up — and that invests in relationships as a core growth lever.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in B2B partnership strategy, event marketing, and ecosystem development within the service industry. You’ll have the autonomy to build a partner program from the ground up while optimizing an existing conference presence, gaining end-to-end ownership of a growth function that directly influences sales pipeline and brand perception. Success will be measured by your ability to create a predictable, scalable partner referral motion and a calendar of co-marketing activities that are not only memorable but directly tied to Opus’s business objectives — setting you up for advancement into broader go-to-market or partnership leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must have field sales, SDR, door-to-door, or fundraising experience with proven ability to initiate cold outreach and follow through to closure.
- • Demonstrated experience building something relational from scratch — such as a program, club, or business — with tangible outcomes you can point to.
- • Strong instinct for relationship-building: you remember personal details, follow up with context, and make others feel uniquely valued.
- • Creative sensibility for designing memorable events and activations that stand out from generic industry offerings.
- • Operational excellence: meticulous attention to detail, with logistics executed flawlessly and nothing falling through the cracks.
- • 3–5 years of relevant experience; you’ve outgrown your current role and are ready for real ownership and impact.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote position based in the US, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
- • Opportunity to own and shape a strategic growth function from the ground up with clear impact on revenue and brand.
- • Work with a mission-driven team passionate about improving frontline worker experiences through innovative training.
- • Engage in high-visibility industry events and build relationships with influential consultants and advisors.
- • Access to professional growth through end-to-end ownership of events, partnerships, and co-marketing initiatives.
