- • EverHealth Medical AR Specialist role is critical to ensuring timely collection of patient and insurance balances, directly impacting revenue cycle performance and financial health of healthcare providers served by EverCommerce.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing aging reports, following up on unpaid or underpaid claims, researching and appealing denials, posting payments accurately, communicating with patients about balances and payment plans, coordinating with billing and clinical teams, ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation, and preparing AR performance reports for management.
- • EverCommerce is a leading service commerce platform (Nasdaq: EVCM) providing vertically-tailored SaaS solutions to over 690,000 global service-based businesses, with EverHealth focusing on health industry clients through integrated software, payments, marketing, and customer experience tools.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, strengthen analytical and negotiation skills, gain deep familiarity with medical billing and payer regulations, and contribute to reducing days in AR while maximizing reimbursement—positioning you for advancement in healthcare finance or RCM leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
- • 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, billing, or collections
- • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claim processes, CPT/ICD-10 coding basics, and payer rules
- • Proficiency in practice management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with patients, payers, and colleagues
