- • As a Senior Cloud Database Administrator at EverHealth, you will support and improve the production databases behind DrChrono, a core healthcare SaaS application used by over 72,000 healthcare practices, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance data infrastructure critical to patient care and operational efficiency.
- • Day to day, you will administer and troubleshoot MariaDB on AWS RDS replica sets, lead performance tuning efforts, manage backups and disaster recovery, use Bytebase for database change workflows, and collaborate with SRE, platform, product engineering, and security teams to maintain database reliability and operational readiness.
- • EverCommerce is a leading service commerce platform transforming the service economy through tailored SaaS solutions in Home & Field Services, Health Services, and Wellness, serving 725,000+ customers with a mission to simplify and empower experiences between customers and service professionals.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud database administration, gain hands-on experience with AWS Aurora migration initiatives, strengthen your impact on HIPAA-compliant systems, and play a key role in modernizing database infrastructure for scalable, resilient healthcare software.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of database administration experience in production software environments
- • Deep experience with MariaDB on AWS RDS
- • Strong experience troubleshooting database performance issues in production environments
- • Experience managing RDS replica sets, replication behavior, failover readiness, backups, restores, and production operations
- • Experience working in healthcare technology, healthcare SaaS, or other regulated data environments (strongly preferred)
