- • Be the strategic right hand to the CEO of a fast-growing health & wellness startup that fuses ancient herbal wisdom with modern science. You’ll orchestrate the CEO’s world—calendar, travel, inbox, board decks—so she can focus on scaling a mission-driven brand that is redefining preventive care.
- • Own the CEO’s calendar like a chess master: prioritize meetings that accelerate product launches, investor conversations, and regulatory approvals; block deep-work time for creative breakthroughs; and proactively reshuffle when new opportunities emerge.
- • Design friction-free travel experiences—domestic and international—that turn red-eye flights into productive work sessions and ensure the CEO arrives refreshed for keynotes, supplier visits, and wellness retreats. You’ll negotiate upgrades, manage visas, and build contingency plans that anticipate weather, strikes, or last-minute venue changes.
- • Serve as the gatekeeper and ghost-writer for the CEO’s inbox, drafting replies that mirror her voice, escalate urgent investor questions, and politely defer non-essential requests. Your discretion will protect sensitive cap-table data, clinical trial results, and upcoming M&A discussions.
- • Translate board meetings, all-hands, and customer interviews into crisp action-item trackers and follow-up emails that keep cross-functional teams aligned. You’ll run post-mortems on missed deadlines and implement lightweight systems (Notion, Asana, Slack workflows) to prevent recurrence.
- • Craft the CEO’s thought-leadership presence from scratch: write LinkedIn posts that spark industry debate, ghost-edit Medium essays on herbal bio-actives, and script 60-second TikTok explainers that demystify adaptogens for Gen-Z. You’ll mine meeting notes for quotable insights and turn them into shareable narratives that grow the brand’s authority.
- • Partner with the Head of Growth to align CEO messaging with product drops, influencer campaigns, and PR calendars. When a new ashwagandha tincture launches, you’ll coordinate embargoed briefings for wellness editors and draft the CEO’s launch-day email to 250k subscribers.
- • Build a lightweight “CEO dashboard” using AI tools (Clay, Motion, Zapier) that surfaces real-time KPIs—CAC, LTV, churn, inventory turns—so leadership can spot trends before they become fires. You’ll automate weekly investor updates and flag anomalies that deserve deeper analysis.
- • Run special projects end-to-end: from organizing a 3-day off-site in the Berkshires that blends team-building with foraging workshops, to coordinating a Series B roadshow with 18 investor meetings across 4 cities. You’ll own budgets, vendor contracts, and post-event ROI reports.
- • Champion a culture of operational excellence by documenting SOPs, onboarding new execs, and training teammates on productivity hacks. Your playbook will become the gold standard that scales with the company.
- • Stay curious about wellness trends—whether it’s the latest peer-reviewed study on reishi or a viral TikTok on chlorophyll drops—so you can inject fresh insights into content and strategy discussions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years supporting C-level executives in high-growth startups, wellness, CPG, or DTC environments
- • Proven ability to ghost-write compelling content for LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters, or social platforms
- • Mastery of Google Workspace, Slack, Notion/Asana, and AI scheduling tools; quick to adopt new tech
- • Demonstrated discretion handling confidential investor, board, and M&A information
- • Bonus: passion for herbal medicine, Ayurveda, or natural health; experience during fundraising or Series A–C scaling
