  • • As the Executive Assistant for Learning and Assessment at the College Board, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of two critical teams: Psychometrics and Assessment Design & Development. These teams are at the forefront of researching, designing, and delivering high-quality assessments that foster opportunity for students and educators globally. You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Vice Presidents of these divisions, who collectively lead a staff of over 100 employees. This position is essential for maintaining efficiency, facilitating communication, and supporting the strategic initiatives of these vital departments.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will encompass a broad range of administrative tasks, demanding exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion. You will be instrumental in managing the complex and dynamic calendars of two Vice Presidents, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts to ensure their time is optimized for strategic work and leadership responsibilities. This requires a keen understanding of priorities and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • • Travel coordination will be a significant aspect of your role. You will be responsible for arranging all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, for both VPs. This includes meticulous planning to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences, often involving complex itineraries and last-minute adjustments. Furthermore, you will manage the preparation, reconciliation, and timely submission of all expense reports, adhering to College Board policies and procedures, which requires accuracy and diligence.
  • • Maintaining the utmost confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in handling sensitive information is paramount. You will be privy to confidential discussions and documents, and your ability to maintain discretion will be crucial in fostering trust and supporting leadership effectively. This role demands a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • • A substantial portion of your role, approximately 30%, will be dedicated to meeting and event coordination. You will be the key organizer for a variety of in-person meetings and events hosted by the Assessment Design & Development (AD&D) and Psychometrics teams. This includes leadership meetings, strategic retreats, SAT review committees, technical advisory sessions, and planning workshops. Your expertise will be vital in managing all logistical aspects, from venue selection and catering to material preparation and participant communication.
  • • You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of these events, coordinating travel for attendees, managing meeting materials, and ensuring a professional and productive environment. Your support will also extend to facilitating virtual and hybrid events, leveraging technology to ensure seamless participation for all attendees, regardless of their location.
  • • In the realm of administrative systems and communication (20% of your role), you will maintain and organize shared documentation and essential templates used for meeting scheduling and coordination. This ensures consistency and efficiency across the teams. You will work in close partnership with the Assistant Director, Division Management, to guarantee alignment across leadership calendars and divisional initiatives, acting as a central point of communication and coordination.
  • • You will also provide support for various division-wide initiatives as needed, contributing to the operational success of projects that advance the College Board's mission. This might involve assisting with data collection, preparing reports, or coordinating communication efforts.
  • • The Learning & Assessment division is dedicated to advancing opportunity through rigorous, accessible, and evidence-based assessments. As an Executive Assistant, you will be an integral part of this mission, enabling leaders to focus on their strategic objectives and ensuring the smooth functioning of teams that shape the future of education. Your contribution will directly impact the College Board's ability to deliver on its promise of opportunity for all students.
  • • This is a full-time, remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern time zone. While remote, occasional travel for in-person business meetings is required. The College Board is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and this role is central to supporting the leadership that drives these efforts within the Learning and Assessment division.
