- • As an Executive Client Advisor at Tanium, you will serve as a trusted executive leader with deep expertise in U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and Intelligence Community operations, leveraging your firsthand government experience to build credibility and drive strategic engagement with senior defense and federal leaders.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting top-down engagements with O-6, Flag and General Officers, Senior Executive Service, and senior professional cadres to build Tanium brand awareness, create executive champions, and share success stories; coordinating with operators to understand customer capability gaps; assisting sales teams in navigating complex DoD policy, organizational dynamics, budgeting, resourcing, and acquisition processes; working within DoD structures to enable mission success; and synchronizing Tanium activities across capability development, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution cycles.

- • In this role, you will achieve impact by directly influencing federal sales strategy through your unique government credibility, develop executive-level relationships across DoD and Federal Civilian sectors, master complex government acquisition processes, and contribute to Tanium’s mission of delivering unstoppable business outcomes through Autonomous IT—all while operating with high autonomy and critical thinking to solve complex customer challenges.
🎯 Requirements
- • 20+ years of experience in the Government technology industry—specifically U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and Intelligence Community
- • Active TS/SCI Federal clearance is required
- • Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite and Government official level contacts
- • Existing relationships with senior leaders in DoD and/or Federal Government
- • Expertise in working with Government organizations and other strategic centers
- • Experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Endpoint Security, Endpoint Support/Troubleshooting, Incident Response, and/or Systems Management

- • Annual base salary range of $156,000 to $239,000
