• • The Executive Director-Chief Revenue Officer role at Distro, Inc. (operating as Northern University – Academies Division) is a strategic leadership position responsible for transforming Harmony Academy from a philanthropic-funded model into a revenue-generating educational technology enterprise, serving as Chief Revenue Officer for the Academies division and reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Academies.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include driving sales professionalism and processes to transition the organization to revenue-generating operations, leading and developing approximately 20 team members, executing strategic goals while maintaining the ability to individually close deals, supporting the evolution of SEL and Fundraising Academies into ed-tech revenue streams, coaching teams in new sales methodologies, collaborating cross-functionally within a 40-person organization, and providing adaptive leadership during organizational pivots.
• • The team operates within Northern University’s Academies Division, a small, dynamic organization of 40 people total, with access to university resources and a collaborative culture focused on scaling educational technology initiatives in the K-12 sector.
• • In this role, the individual can develop expertise in go-to-market strategy for ed-tech, lead organizational transformation from philanthropy to revenue generation, build and coach high-performing sales teams in K-12 markets, and gain experience scaling educational technology ventures within a university-backed environment.
