- • The Executive Director of School Partnerships at Kaplan, Inc. is a strategic leadership role focused on driving revenue growth and sustaining key institutional partnerships within the K12 education sector, combining direct sales execution with team mentorship to expand Kaplan’s impact in college and career readiness solutions.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading enterprise sales efforts for strategic accounts, managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to renewal, mentoring junior sales team members as a player-coach, designing scalable implementation models for partner deployments, maintaining accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce, and collaborating with product, security, and operations teams to align solutions with partner needs.
- • Kaplan is a global leader in education and technology with over 80 years of experience, dedicated to empowering students through innovative learning solutions; the High School Segment specifically partners with K12 institutions, school districts, and educational organizations to deliver tools and strategies that support college and career readiness.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in enterprise educational sales, refine leadership and coaching abilities, influence product development through customer feedback, and contribute to thought leadership via webinars, white papers, and conference content—positioning them as a strategic influencer in the K12 edtech space.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business Administration or Education Leadership preferred
- • 8+ years of sales or leadership experience with a proven track record in enterprise, consulting, or educational sales management
- • Demonstrated experience in a player-coach or functional leadership role, mentoring and guiding team members
- • Strong experience navigating complex sales cycles within K12 or educational institutions, including independent schools and CMOs
- • Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for pipeline management and collaboration
- • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills for engaging school district leaders and C-suite executives
