Executive Partner - Program & Portfolio Management

📋 Description

• • Manage a portfolio of 25–30 enterprise clients, primarily senior Program, Portfolio, and Transformation leaders reporting to C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies.
• • Deliver executive-level advisory services through regular briefings, virtual and on-site workshops, roundtables, webinars, and attendance at Gartner events.
• • Coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and strategic challenges within the EPMO and Digital Programs space, drawing on personal executive experience and proprietary Gartner research.
• • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on the establishment, maturation, and funding of Product Management functions and the governance of Agile initiatives.
• • Advise on Large Program Governance, organizational change management related to PMO/EPMO transformation, and the integration of PMO activities with Finance, Regulatory/Compliance, and Procurement.
• • Guide clients on managing hybrid portfolios combining products and projects, with emphasis on aligning investment decisions with strategic outcomes.
• • Influence digital investment decisions at the C-level or board level using data-driven insights and business case frameworks.
• • Provide expert guidance on Application Rationalization and Cloud Migration (SaaS, IaaS) and their impact on organizational portfolio management needs.
• • Collaborate closely with internal Gartner teams including Sales, Analysts, Client Managers, and peers across other Executive IT Leadership domains to ensure comprehensive client value delivery.
• • Support Gartner Sales efforts in prospect cultivation, account plan development, and value demonstration activities to drive client retention and regional growth.
• • Operate as an individual contributor in a predominantly remote, home-based role, managing administrative tasks and client engagements virtually.
• • Maintain high executive presence and build trusted advisory relationships with senior IT and business leaders.
• • Leverage Gartner’s AI insights and resources to support client AI adoption journeys and digital transformation priorities.
• • Represent Gartner as a subject matter authority in Program & Portfolio Management, contributing to the broader Executive Technology Services Product Suite.
• • Adapt advisory approaches to meet the unique context and mission-critical priorities of each client organization.
• • Maintain deep, current knowledge of evolving trends in enterprise technology leadership, digital business, and portfolio governance practices.
