- • Conduct comprehensive background investigations using technology, electronic tools, and multiple systems to interview subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals, while reviewing official records to establish background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject.
- • Perform interviews via Virtual Teleconference (VTC) as the primary method, supplemented by phone and in-person meetings, ensuring accurate and thorough data collection.
- • Complete a one-week intensive virtual, online training program to prepare for investigative duties and system usage.
- • Resolve all material issues in each case to ensure complete and accurate investigative findings, adhering to federal standards and protocols.
- • Travel up to 10% locally for assignments, with potential for temporary duty assignments (TDY) across the U.S. lasting approximately two weeks.
- • Utilize multiple technology systems simultaneously to maintain workflow efficiency, track case progress, and ensure timely submission of reports.
- • Maintain impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude while handling sensitive national security information.
- • Communicate complex or sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse individuals, demonstrating strong listening skills and appropriate responses to nonverbal cues.
- • Produce written reports with correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling, ensuring information is succinct, organized, and appropriate for the intended audience.
- • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet production metrics for quality and timeliness in case completion.
- • Operate from a home office equipped with reliable high-speed internet, with a $50 monthly internet stipend provided.
- • Maintain a current driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle to support local travel requirements based on assignment location.
- • Sit, stand, walk, or type for extended periods as required to perform investigative duties and documentation.
- • Support national security initiatives with a strong sense of mission and commitment to public service.
- • Gain exposure to multiple federal background investigation contracts, broadening professional experience across diverse case types and systems.
- • Adhere to all requirements for obtaining and maintaining a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation.
- • Demonstrate ability to navigate complex workflows, manage competing priorities, and uphold confidentiality in all aspects of investigations.
