- • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during trials and ongoing use of EngFlow’s platform, guiding them through adoption and scaling of build workflows.
- • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues related to build systems, integrations, and development environments across customer setups.
- • Help customers optimize their use of EngFlow’s remote execution and caching tools to improve build performance, developer velocity, and product quality.
- • Collaborate with internal Engineering teams to surface, track, and prioritize product bugs, performance regressions, and feature feedback gathered from customer interactions.
- • Create, maintain, and improve internal and external technical documentation to enhance customer onboarding, reduce support overhead, and empower developer self-service.
- • Engage with the broader developer community through forums, Slack, GitHub, and industry conferences, representing EngFlow with technical clarity and empathy.
- • Contribute to operational excellence by developing metrics, improving tooling, and automating repetitive support tasks to scale customer success.
- • Support engineering teams in integrating EngFlow’s solutions into their existing CI/CD pipelines and build environments, ensuring seamless adoption.
- • Provide expert guidance on configuring and tuning build systems using EngFlow’s observability platform to deliver actionable insights for optimization.
- • Work closely with customers to understand their unique developer workflows and tailor implementation strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce build times.
- • Maintain a customer-centric approach by proactively identifying pain points in developer workflows and advocating for solutions within the product team.
- • Participate in remote customer calls, documentation reviews, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality technical support.
- • Represent EngFlow’s brand in technical communities by answering questions, sharing best practices, and contributing to open-source discussions related to build systems.
- • Assist in onboarding new customers by conducting technical walkthroughs, reviewing configuration files, and validating integration success.
- • Monitor customer usage patterns and performance metrics to identify opportunities for proactive support and product improvement.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of EngFlow’s product capabilities, limitations, and roadmap to accurately guide customer expectations and implementation paths.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles
- • Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems (experience with Bazel or Buck/Buck2 is a big plus)
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript)
- • Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment with experience in tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift)
- • Great communicator—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls
