- • Install new residential garage doors by picking up doors and parts from the warehouse and transporting them to customer homes.
- • Remove existing garage doors and mechanical components, including springs, sections, slats, and hardware.
- • Assemble and install mechanical parts using power tools and hand tools, ensuring proper function and safety.
- • Run electrical wiring to connect garage door openers and other equipment.
- • Lubricate and test all mechanical components to confirm proper operation after installation.
- • Educate customers on upgraded parts, services, and maintenance options to ensure satisfaction and drive additional sales.
- • Document all installation activities, including parts used, time spent, and customer feedback.
- • Dispose of old garage doors and unused materials in accordance with company protocols.
- • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all customer sites.
- • Drive a company-provided wrapped truck to job sites; vehicle is your primary workspace and requires regular use.
- • Perform tasks in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as installations occur outdoors.
- • Lift and maneuver garage door panels weighing up to 75 pounds and position them above head height.
- • Climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods during installations.
- • Utilize navigation apps, tablets, and computers for job routing, documentation, and communication.
- • Adhere to safety standards and company procedures to prevent callbacks and ensure high-quality work.
- • Participate in a 4-week paid training program at the A1 Training Academy in Phoenix, AZ, covering company systems, customer experience, and advanced installation techniques.
- • Receive a $1,000 bonus upon successful completion of the Phoenix training program.
- • Operate under a flat-rate pay structure: $42 per estimated job hour, with potential to earn up to $47.25 based on experience and performance.
- • Earn additional commission on upsold services and upgraded parts.
- • Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience.
- • Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding THC) and criminal background check.
- • Demonstrate reliability, trustworthiness, and self-motivation to achieve a six-figure income potential.
- • Commit to continuous learning and professional growth, even after mastering core installation skills.
- • Work in a high-volume market with steady job flow and weekly pay cycles.
- • Operate as an employee (W-2), not an independent contractor (1099).
- • Receive company-provided tools and a fully equipped A1-branded truck with a gas card.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1 year of professional garage door installation experience
- • Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history and clean record
- • Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for long periods
- • Pass pre-employment drug test (excluding THC) and criminal background check
- • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and basic software (navigation apps, tablets, computers)
- • Eligible to work legally in the United States
