  • • Serve Robotics is at the forefront of revolutionizing urban logistics with its innovative sidewalk robots, designed to alleviate street congestion, enhance delivery accessibility, and empower local businesses. As we scale our operations and expand our reach across multiple cities, the need for robust and well-maintained facilities becomes paramount. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Miami, FL, and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and functionality of our physical infrastructure.
  • • In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Facilities Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities. Your responsibilities will span across ensuring building compliance with all relevant regulations, meticulously coordinating with a diverse range of vendors and contractors, and proactively responding to all facility-related needs. Your primary objective will be to cultivate and maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all Serve Robotics employees across our various sites.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve supervising and coordinating routine maintenance activities for our company buildings. This includes everything from minor repairs to scheduled upkeep, all aimed at ensuring the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and minimal disruption to our critical business operations. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, identifying potential issues before they escalate and implementing preventative measures.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring that all our facilities adhere strictly to building codes, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements, and all other applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. This involves staying abreast of any changes in legislation and ensuring our practices are always up-to-date and compliant.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will be in coordinating our network of vendors and contractors. This includes sourcing, vetting, scheduling, and overseeing their work to ensure it meets Serve Robotics' high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be the primary point of contact, managing performance and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • • You will actively support strategic space planning initiatives. This encompasses assisting with office moves, managing reconfigurations of existing spaces to optimize workflow, and overseeing minor expansion projects. Your input will be crucial in ensuring our workspaces evolve with the company's growth.
  • • The procurement of essential office furniture, fixtures, and equipment will also fall under your purview. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure these acquisitions align with our operational needs, budget constraints, and the overall aesthetic and functional requirements of our workspaces.
  • • Financial stewardship is key. You will meticulously track all maintenance and repair expenses, providing accurate data to support budget management for various facility projects. This involves careful record-keeping and reporting to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust emergency procedures. This includes creating and regularly reviewing evacuation plans, coordinating safety training for employees, and ensuring all emergency response equipment is readily accessible and functional.
  • • A critical responsibility is the inspection and maintenance of all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Ensuring these are in good working order and employees are aware of their locations and usage is paramount.
  • • You will also monitor and manage our building security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems, to ensure a secure environment for our employees and assets.
  • • As a secondary point of contact for facility-related issues, you will be a reliable resource for employees, addressing their concerns and requests promptly and effectively.
  • • Regular, thorough facility inspections will be a part of your routine. You will document conditions, identify potential risks, and propose necessary improvements to enhance the overall functionality and safety of our spaces.
  • • You will contribute to Serve Robotics' commitment to sustainability by supporting initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption, minimizing waste, and lowering overall operating costs.
  • • This role requires intermittent travel, approximately once per quarter, to support our facilities in different locations. This presents an opportunity to gain broader exposure to our operational footprint.
