- • As a Facility Coding Quality Specialist at CorroHealth, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate medical coding and billing compliance, directly impacting clients’ financial health and reimbursement outcomes by identifying and correcting coding errors before they affect revenue cycles.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing complex retrospective analysis of medical records to detect coding and billing inconsistencies, conducting second-level reviews of diagnosis and procedure codes, analyzing audit findings to prevent recurring errors, providing technical feedback and training to internal coding staff, and preparing deliverables and reports for management while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient health information.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in facility inpatient and outpatient coding, strengthen your analytical and communication skills, gain experience in quality assurance systems and compliance programs, and have the opportunity to influence process improvements that enhance coder productivity and accuracy across diverse client projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years (preferably 3 years) of experience coding and/or auditing in inpatient and outpatient facility settings
- • Recognized coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CPC, CCS); RHIA or RHIT may also be considered
- • Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of quality and accuracy
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and ability to navigate various EMR environments
- • Ability to work with minimal supervision, collaborate effectively in a team setting, and adapt to multiple clients and projects
