- • As a Factory Automation Engineer at Dandy Technology, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the manufacturing infrastructure that powers the company’s mission to modernize the $200B dental industry through innovative, high-throughput automation systems.
- • You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, quality, and efficiency of 24/7 production lines by owning equipment performance, driving continuous improvement, and enabling near-autonomous operations through data-driven problem solving and cross-functional leadership.

- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include participating in design reviews for automated equipment, leading factory integration and qualification of new machinery, and becoming the equipment owner responsible for sustaining performance and driving continuous improvement.
- • You will monitor equipment health using data analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, while leading cross-functional efforts to sustain high Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) through systematic problem-solving methodologies.
- • You will evaluate processing conditions and material properties using SPC and other statistical techniques, manage process conditions to meet Process Control Document requirements, and ensure mechanical and physical product specifications are consistently met.
- • You will implement and operate mechanical and electromechanical systems, actively pursue process improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs, and solve complex problems using DMAIC, Design of Experiments (DOE), and cross-functional team collaboration.
- • You will develop and implement processing conditions for new equipment and materials, manage qualification efforts for new processes and materials, and create programs that support consistent continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
- • You will provide training to operations personnel, ensure timely disposition of nonconforming product, and support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to maintain quality and compliance.
- • You will monitor and report on line yield and efficiency, investigate quality non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and participate in cross-functional teams to address safety, quality, and improvement initiatives.
- • You will interface with customers and internal support teams as needed, and ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) policies across all factory operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering from a four-year university
- • Minimum of four years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer, or in a similar role
- • Proven ability to evaluate, develop, and manage process parameters in product manufacturing
