Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Lead the Midwest Territory for FACTS Education Services, a division of Nelnet Business Services, and become the face of a mission-driven organization that is changing the trajectory of children’s lives through exceptional academic and educator services. You will own P&L accountability for a multi-state region that includes Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio, driving strategic growth while ensuring every student served receives the highest-quality Title I, Title IV, and other federally funded programs.
  • • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing regional team of Regional Account Managers and Instructional Specialists. Through weekly 1:1s, quarterly business reviews, and real-time coaching, you will institutionalize operational excellence, foster a culture of servant leadership, and create clear career pathways that retain top talent and reduce regrettable turnover.
  • • Own end-to-end program implementation and compliance for every contract in your region. You will translate federal ESSA guidelines into executable district-level plans, monitor fidelity of service delivery, and ensure every instructional hour, professional-learning session, and data report meets or exceeds federal, state, and FACTS quality standards.
  • • Serve as the chief relationship officer for public school districts, non-public schools, diocesan systems, and regional consortia. You will represent FACTS at state conferences, superintendent meetings, and diocesan gatherings, cultivating trust that leads to contract renewals, scope expansions, and multi-year partnerships.
  • • Drive measurable business outcomes: 95 %+ account retention, 10 %+ organic growth within existing contracts, Net Promoter Scores above 70, and resource-utilization rates that maximize margin without compromising service quality. You will submit and execute an Annual Regional Performance Plan that is data-driven, transparent, and aligned to corporate OKRs.
  • • Resolve escalated issues at the speed of trust. Whether a compliance audit finding, a dissatisfied principal, or a staffing shortfall, you will triage root causes, marshal cross-functional resources, and deliver solutions that protect the student experience and the FACTS brand.
  • • Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders—Business Operations, Business Advancement, Academic Services, Professional Learning, HR, Accounting, and Marketing—to forecast demand, allocate resources, and launch new service lines such as high-impact tutoring or mental-health supports.
  • • Master the FACTS Education Services CRM and data warehouse. You will maintain 100 % data integrity for every student, educator, and contract record in your region, turning raw metrics into actionable insights that guide staffing, pricing, and program-design decisions.
  • • Travel up to 50 % across six states, meeting customers where they are—in classrooms, boardrooms, and parish halls. You will model the professionalism, energy, and empathy that turn first-time buyers into lifelong advocates.
  • • Champion Nelnet’s broader mission by engaging in community service, sitting on local education boards, and mentoring early-career educators, thereby strengthening the social fabric that sustains our business and our purpose.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field (Master’s or graduate coursework in education preferred)
  • • Minimum 5 years of nonpublic school administration or equivalent project-management experience in K-12 education
  • • Demonstrated expertise managing compliance-driven federal programs (ESSA Title I & IV) and driving measurable student outcomes
  • • Proven ability to lead distributed teams, manage a P&L, and travel up to 50 % within the Midwest Territory while residing in AR, IL, IN, MI, MN, or OH
  • • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (including CoPilot), CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Annual pay range of $100,000–$140,000 plus performance-based incentive package
  • • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k), student-loan repayment, life & AD&D, short- and long-term disability
  • • Generous earned time off, tuition reimbursement, employee stock purchase plan, and robust wellness program
  • • Remote-first culture with travel flexibility and a community invested in your personal and professional growth
