- • Field Alliances Manager at SHI International Corp. is a strategic, regionally embedded role designed to bridge national partner strategy with local market execution, serving as the primary in-market advocate for SHI with core OEM partners and the voice of the region back to leadership.
- • This role goes beyond traditional partner management by focusing on real-time advocacy, partnership health, and actionable regional insights to drive measurable business impact and inform leadership decisions.
- • Day to day, the Field Alliances Manager will own strategic regional relationships by building and maintaining deep connections with core OEM partners such as Dell, Palo Alto, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and VMware within their assigned region.
- • They will act as the local escalation point for both SHI and partner field teams when issues or opportunities arise, ensuring timely resolution and alignment.
- • The role involves advancing deal flow and partner advocacy by supporting the local sales pipeline, ensuring partner alignment, and driving measurable business outcomes.
- • Representing SHI at partner events is critical—maintaining a consistent, intentional local presence at key OEM and partner gatherings to influence outcomes and strengthen SHI’s regional brand.
- • The manager will deliver regional insights by mapping local relationships, identifying gaps, and providing transparent feedback to guide SHI’s investment and intervention strategies.
- • They will communicate SHI’s full regional value proposition—encompassing commercial, enterprise, and global seller activities—not just individual books of business—to ensure holistic understanding.
- • Supporting leadership decisions is a core function, providing data-informed perspectives on relationship strength, partner strategic value, and emerging opportunities.
- • The role requires strategic thinking to analyze complex situations and lead initiative development, relationship building to expand networks and foster collaboration, and analytical thinking to synthesize data and present clear findings.
- • Effective communication and presentation skills are essential for conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences and facilitating alignment across teams.
- • Time management and organizational abilities are needed to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate projects across matrix structures.
- • The Field Alliances Manager will operate within a matrix management environment, requiring comfort navigating multiple reporting lines and cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales
- • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
