- • As a Field Data Specialist – Archeologist, you will support fieldwork throughout Northern California, conducting pedestrian surveys, construction monitoring, and testing while collecting field data, digital photography, artifact identification, GPS data, and mapping.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with construction crews on monitoring needs and schedules, maintaining project files and confidentiality, interacting with customers and clients, exercising safe work practices per OSHA regulations, and performing other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related discipline
- • Completion of an archaeological field school or equivalent experience
- • At least two (2) years of experience in California with archaeological survey, construction monitoring, and site recording
- • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and own transportation for travel, including off-paved roads
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel and ability to use related computer systems and software
- • Experience with GPS equipment and Field Maps, Survey 123, or similar software programs
