Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end student journey for clinical and practicum placements. You will serve as the single point of accountability for 200-300 nursing and health-care students, ensuring every learner has the documentation, site assignment, and ongoing support required to begin rotations on time and graduate as planned.
- • Master a complex compliance ecosystem. Collect, audit, and track immunization records, background checks, drug screens, HIPAA & OSHA certifications, liability insurance, and any state-specific clinical requirements. Build automated reminders and dashboards so students, faculty, and site partners see real-time status and never miss a deadline.
- • Build and maintain a national network of clinical sites. Research, vet, and contract with hospitals, community clinics, long-term-care facilities, and specialty practices across Arizona and beyond. Negotiate placement slots, resolve capacity issues, and document affiliation agreements so GCU can scale enrollment without sacrificing quality.
- • Provide concierge-level student support via phone, email, Zoom, and Salesforce. Handle 40-60 inbound/outbound contacts daily while sustaining a 95 %+ customer-satisfaction score. Translate complex policies into clear action plans, calm anxious students, and celebrate every win—from a cleared TB test to a last-minute site change.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with faculty and academic leadership. Attend weekly curriculum meetings, flag at-risk students early, and recommend data-driven interventions. Translate faculty expectations into student-facing checklists and timelines so everyone moves in lockstep.
- • Champion continuous improvement. Identify bottlenecks in the placement process, propose technology or workflow enhancements, and pilot solutions that cut cycle time and raise compliance rates. Your ideas will directly influence the roadmap for the Field Experience team.
- • Model GCU’s mission in every interaction. Whether you are guiding a first-generation student through her first clinical rotation or reassuring a working parent about weekend shift options, you will embody the university’s commitment to service, ethics, and student success.
- • Thrive in a high-performance, remote-first culture. Work from your Phoenix-area home office four days a week, then collaborate in person on the vibrant GCU campus for team huddles, training, and professional-development workshops. Leverage Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce to stay connected and productive.
- • Invest in your own growth. Complete two weeks of immersive onboarding—one week on campus, one week virtual—followed by quarterly skill academies, tuition-free GCU courses, and a clear pathway to senior counselor or team-lead roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, education, business, or related field) OR 60+ college credits plus 2 years of professional experience; 6 months in higher-education or healthcare settings preferred
- • Proven success in high-volume customer service, account management, or student support with measurable KPIs
- • Demonstrated ability to manage 40-60 daily contacts via phone, email, and CRM while maintaining quality and empathy
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort learning new systems such as Salesforce
- • Authorization to work in the U.S. and successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote flexibility for Phoenix-area residents with one collaborative campus day per week
- • 20 PTO days to start, 11.5 paid holidays, and additional personal leave for volunteering
- • 100 % tuition waiver for GCU undergraduate and graduate programs for employee and eligible dependents
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting day one
- • Annual professional-development stipend and clear advancement path to senior counselor or team-lead roles
