- • Field Marketer at HubSpot, Inc. in Tokyo, Japan: This role is critical to driving pipeline growth and customer engagement in Japan’s Small Business and Mid-Market segments by designing and executing high-impact in-person and virtual events that translate marketing strategy into measurable business results. As the primary marketing liaison for Japan-based BDR, Sales, and Customer Success teams, you will ensure marketing initiatives are tightly aligned with sales objectives, creating seamless experiences that accelerate deal cycles and strengthen customer relationships.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing end-to-end field marketing strategies for Japan, managing trade shows, prospect roundtables, third-party events, and group demos; owning event logistics such as venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, catering, and on-site coordination; collaborating with Revenue and Integrated Marketing teams to align local execution with global best practices; recruiting and managing executive speakers and customer testimonials; tracking and analyzing event performance against pipeline, deals, and MRR metrics; and serving as the primary marketing contact for sales teams on event invitations, attendance, and follow-up to ensure active participation and ROI.

You’ll strengthen your stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills by working closely with sales and customer success teams, gain hands-on experience in optimizing marketing ROI through data attribution, and position yourself as a regional leader whose successes in Japan can shape APAC and global field marketing practices. 🎯 Requirements
- • Native Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills in both languages
- • 3~5 years of B2B marketing experience with proven track record in hands-on event execution and field marketing, ideally within SaaS environments
- • Strong relationship-building skills with BDR and Sales Teams, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments
- • Exceptional project management and logistics coordination abilities for managing multiple simultaneous events with strong attention to detail
- • Hands-on experience with event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, catering coordination, and on-site event management
- • Data-oriented with ability to track event performance, pipeline attribution, and optimize programs based on measurable results
