- • In this role, you will be the architect and executor of our field marketing strategy, bridging the gap between Marketing, Sales, and Developer Relations. Your primary objective will be to ensure LangChain makes a significant impact at key industry events, fostering meaningful connections with both developers and enterprise buyers, and translating this momentum into tangible business growth and pipeline. You will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to showcase our cutting-edge platform and open-source tools, reinforcing our position as a foundational technology for agent engineering.
- • **Key Responsibilities include:**
- • **Orchestrate High-Impact Events:** Take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse portfolio of field programs. This includes major AI conferences, targeted developer meetups, exclusive executive dinners, hands-on technical workshops, and strategic sponsorships. You will manage all aspects from initial concept and vendor negotiation to seamless on-site execution and comprehensive post-event analysis and follow-up.
- • **Drive Measurable Pipeline Growth:** Collaborate intimately with the sales organization to ensure every field program directly contributes to pipeline generation. You will establish clear, measurable goals for meetings, qualified leads, and sales opportunities, and implement robust follow-up processes to maximize conversion rates and ROI.
- • **Strategic Sales Partnership:** Work hand-in-hand with regional sales leaders to pinpoint pipeline gaps and proactively launch tailored events or field programs designed to engage priority accounts and key decision-makers. You will also develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) plans in close collaboration with sales for our most high-value targets.
- • **Opportunity Identification and Evaluation:** Critically assess third-party conferences, sponsorships, and other potential engagement opportunities to determine the most strategic venues for LangChain to participate. You will define how we can best differentiate ourselves and capture the attention of our target audiences at these events.
- • **Meticulous Event Operations Management:** Oversee all logistical elements essential for successful event execution. This includes managing booth design and collateral, coordinating with vendors, handling shipments, ensuring event technology is functional, and preparing sales teams with the necessary information and resources to maximize their engagement and effectiveness at every event.
- • **Playbook Development and Optimization:** Continuously iterate and refine LangChain's field marketing playbook. This involves experimenting with new event formats, analyzing program effectiveness, optimizing for return on investment, and scaling successful strategies across the organization to ensure consistent and impactful execution.
- • **Community Engagement:** Foster and nurture the vibrant LangChain developer community through targeted events and initiatives, ensuring our open-source ethos and platform capabilities are well-represented and accessible.
- • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Act as a central point of contact, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Developer Relations, and Product teams to ensure alignment on event objectives and messaging.
- • **Budget Management:** Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize impact and achieve financial targets.
- • **Performance Tracking and Reporting:** Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for all field marketing activities, providing regular reports on event success, pipeline contribution, and overall program effectiveness to stakeholders.
