  • • Lead the design and implementation of Baseten’s sales operating model, defining core rhythms for frontline managers including 1:1s, forecast calls, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and coaching cadences.
  • • Partner with sales leadership and RevOps to define sales stages, exit criteria, qualification standards, and pipeline mechanics, ensuring CRM and tooling reinforce the process rather than create workarounds.
  • • Translate best practices from MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Challenger, and similar methodologies into a tailored, technical sales motion that reflects how Baseten actually sells.
  • • Build and deliver sales enablement training programs, playbooks, and coaching frameworks to improve rep proficiency in qualification, deal progression, and account planning.
  • • Coach managers and reps directly to drive behavioral change, ensuring consistent adoption of sales processes and improving ramp time, pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and win rates.
  • • Clarify and formalize cross-functional engagement models between sales and FDE, solutions architects, product, marketing, and customer support to eliminate confusion and duplicated effort.
  • • Measure adoption of sales processes and identify friction points, using data and observation to refine training, tools, and expectations for maximum impact.
  • • Drive systemic change by aligning sales execution with company growth, ensuring processes are practical, scalable, and adopted across teams without becoming bureaucratic.
  • • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and frontline managers, bringing credibility through hands-on experience with quota-carrying roles and proven sales transformation outcomes.
  • • Maintain deep alignment with the technical nature of Baseten’s AI product offerings, ensuring sales enablement content accurately reflects product capabilities and customer use cases.
  • • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure messaging, positioning, and collateral support the defined sales motion and are consistently applied across the field.
  • • Continuously evaluate and evolve enablement strategies based on feedback from reps, managers, and performance metrics to sustain momentum and adapt to evolving market conditions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or sales effectiveness with a track record of designing and implementing scalable sales processes
  • • Deep fluency in enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message, with ability to adapt them to technical sales environments
  • • Demonstrated ability to coach managers and reps, drive behavioral change, and improve forecast accuracy and win rates through structured enablement
  • • Experience working closely with RevOps, product, and customer-facing teams to align sales processes with cross-functional workflows
  • • Background as a former AE, sales leader, or RevOps professional with firsthand experience carrying quota and managing sales teams
  • • Strong analytical skills to measure process adoption and identify root causes of performance gaps
