- • Serve as a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary customers across the Winnipeg territory, promoting IDEXX’s diagnostic products and services.
- • Independently manage your assigned sales territory to drive year-over-year growth in recurring diagnostic revenue through increased utilization of in-house tests, assays, instrument consumables, reference laboratory services, and advanced diagnostic profiles.
- • Achieve quarterly sales targets for capital equipment and medical device sales by leveraging consultative selling techniques to align IDEXX solutions with customer needs.
- • Collaborate with regional IDEXX sales professionals to co-sell capital equipment and technology solutions, enhancing cross-functional sales effectiveness.
- • Educate and train veterinary clinic staff on IDEXX products, services, and marketing initiatives, ensuring accurate product knowledge and proper usage.
- • Act as a liaison between customers and IDEXX internal teams, communicating customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and service issues to marketing, business unit managers, and laboratory operations.
- • Ensure timely resolution of customer service inquiries by partnering with laboratory operations teams to address technical and operational concerns.
- • Represent IDEXX’s values and industry expertise professionally in all customer interactions, demonstrating deep understanding of veterinary practice workflows, diagnostic technology, and operational processes.
- • Attend regional trade shows, educational events, and industry conferences to promote IDEXX offerings and stay current on market trends.
- • Manage company expenses and resources in strict compliance with IDEXX guidelines and directives.
- • Adhere to and model IDEXX’s purpose and guiding principles in all aspects of the role.
- • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional weekend work to support trade shows or customer events.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and operate a company-provided vehicle for extensive travel throughout the Winnipeg territory, including overnight trips as needed.
- • Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds to handle diagnostic equipment and samples during client visits.
- • Work directly within veterinary clinic and hospital environments, engaging with veterinary professionals and support staff in clinical settings.
- • Reside within or be willing to relocate to the Winnipeg, Manitoba territory to effectively serve the assigned region.
