- • The Filipino Quality Control Specialist role on Project Lyra is a critical freelance position focused on evaluating and refining AI-generated language outputs to ensure linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural relevance in Filipino. This role directly contributes to improving conversational AI systems by applying deep linguistic expertise to real-world language model training data, making it essential for developing more natural, context-aware, and culturally attuned AI interactions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing AI-generated Filipino text for linguistic precision, grammar, and cultural appropriateness; identifying errors or unnatural phrasing and providing high-quality rewritten responses to enhance language quality; developing natural, contextually appropriate prompts and responses to enrich conversational datasets used in AI training; collaborating with global linguistics and AI teams to align evaluation standards and improve model performance; conducting structured tasks such as preference ranking, grammaticality checks, and text improvement exercises; and delivering clear, constructive feedback in a timely manner to support iterative model refinement.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong academic or professional background in linguistics (required).
- • Native or professional proficiency in Filipino with excellent written communication skills.
- • Deep understanding of grammar, linguistic structures, and cultural nuances of Filipino.
- • Experience in language review, evaluation, or similar roles involving text assessment or rewriting.
- • Comfortable working with structured linguistic tasks such as preference ranking, prompt-response writing, grammaticality checks, and text improvement.
- • Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver clear, constructive feedback consistently and on schedule.
