- • The Finance and Operations Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of a growing marketplace by ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and proper payment processing for medical experts and clients. This position directly supports the company’s ability to scale by keeping financial workflows reliable, transparent, and audit-ready.
- • The person will manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including creating and distributing customer invoices, tracking outstanding payments, monitoring accounts for delinquencies, and following up on overdue balances to ensure timely collections.
- • They will process incoming customer payments, accurately allocate funds to corresponding invoices, and manage disbursements to medical experts using platforms like Bill.com, Brex, and QuickBooks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- • The role involves coding and categorizing financial transactions in accounting systems, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial reports to ensure data integrity across platforms.
- • They will maintain and update financial spreadsheets and dashboards in Excel to track billing, payment activity, and key metrics, using data to identify trends, support analysis, and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
- • The Finance and Operations Associate will collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to streamline workflows, support cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to a structured, scalable financial infrastructure in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- • The person will gain deep exposure to core financial operations in a growing marketplace, develop expertise in financial systems like QuickBooks and Bill.com, and build valuable skills in financial analysis, process optimization, and stakeholder communication—positioning them for advancement in finance or operations roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounts receivable
- • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial spreadsheets for tracking, reporting, and analysis
- • Experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with Bill.com, Brex, or similar payment platforms
- • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records across multiple systems
- • Ability to manage multiple financial workflows simultaneously in a fast-paced, growing company
- • Comfort working during U.S. business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST) to support client-facing financial operations
