- • As Finance Manager at CoMind Technologies Inc., you will play a central role in shaping the finance function of a mission-driven, VC-backed MedTech company developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to improve brain disorder diagnosis and treatment.
- • You will oversee UK & US bookkeeping in Xero, prepare financial reports for management and board, support budgeting and forecasting, manage purchase orders and invoices via Dext and ApprovalMax, process supplier payments, handle staff expenses, support payroll, assist with tax and audit processes, and continuously improve financial operations using AI tools.
- • You will join a collaborative team at CoMind’s Kings Cross offices, working at least 4 days per week in person with one flexible remote day, partnering with external accounting and tax providers and the People team to deliver accurate, insightful financial management.
- • This role offers genuine ownership and variety beyond traditional month-end cycles, allowing you to apply your accounting expertise to build modern, AI-enhanced finance processes and contribute directly to the company’s growth and innovation in healthcare technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified with demonstrable progress towards completion
- • 5+ years professional accounting experience, including at least 2 years in an operational role
- • Experience of month-end close procedures and reporting, consolidations, FX, HMRC payroll and VAT reports, and internal and external audits
- • Familiarity with Xero, Dext and ApprovalMax or similar packages
- • Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as Claude) in a professional context, with the ability to demonstrate how you have applied AI to improve or build finance processes
