- • Campus LLC is revolutionizing higher education by offering an accredited, two-year college program designed to accelerate the talent of tomorrow. We address the critical issue of skyrocketing college costs and stagnant outcomes by providing students with in-demand business and AI skills, taught by top university professors in live, online classes. Our innovative approach is underpinned by a cutting-edge technology platform and a meticulously researched student success model, which includes dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. This commitment to reimagining college has earned us recognition as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024.
- • We are backed by a distinguished group of investors, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, and Shaquille O’Neal, all of whom share our vision for the future of education. As higher education evolves, Campus is at the forefront, and we invite you to join our mission.
- • The Finance team at Campus is dedicated to building a robust financial infrastructure that empowers the organization to scale its impact on students. We operate as strategic partners with leaders across all departments, translating strategic objectives into financial plans, providing clear performance insights, and supporting informed decision-making. Our team comprises finance and accounting professionals specializing in accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and financial operations, all collaborating to ensure our financial data is accurate, actionable, and prepared for investor scrutiny.
- • In this pivotal Finance Manager role, you will be instrumental in driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis as Campus experiences continued growth. You will serve as a key collaborator with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams, taking ownership of core FP&A processes and establishing the analytical framework essential for strategic decision-making, operational execution, and fundraising efforts.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the development and meticulous maintenance of sophisticated financial models, including the operating model, headcount model, and cash flow forecast. You will play a crucial role in supporting the annual budgeting cycle and ongoing forecasting activities, working closely with functional leaders to ensure financial plans are aligned with overarching company objectives.
- • You will conduct in-depth analyses of critical performance drivers, such as enrollment figures, tuition revenue, variable costs, gross margins, and investments in student-facing initiatives. This includes building comprehensive scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic initiatives, OKRs, and fundraising discussions.
- • A key aspect of your role will be tracking and explaining budget versus actual performance, identifying the root causes of variances, and presenting actionable insights to leadership. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and executive-level reports tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.
- • Furthermore, you will analyze unit economics and the return on investment (ROI) for various programs and roles, including student success, admissions, and employee benefits, to guide resource allocation decisions. Close collaboration with the Accounting department will be essential to ensure seamless alignment across actual financial data, forecasts, and reporting structures.
- • You will actively contribute to the enhancement of FP&A processes, tools, and data integrity, including exploring opportunities for automation and preparing for the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Supporting investor and board reporting will involve producing clear, consistent financial materials and efficiently responding to data requests.
- • This role offers significant growth potential as Campus scales, with opportunities to expand your scope of responsibility and leadership influence over time. You will be an integral part of bringing our transformative vision for education to life.
