📋 Description
- • Finance Manager/Lead responsible for ensuring timely, accurate financial data to support business decisions across a rapidly growing global portfolio of companies.
- • Day-to-day tasks include month-end close for 15 global entities, preparing financial reports (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cashflow), managing tax coordination (sales tax/VAT, corporate filings), and driving automation of repetitive accounting processes using modern tools and AI.
- • Part of Inspiration Commerce Group, a fast-moving team of ~50 that has completed 6 acquisitions in 18 months and scaled to >$100M revenue, with operations across the US, UK, and EU, building and acquiring businesses in fashion, affiliate marketing, B2B tech, and niche marketplaces.
- • Opportunity to take ownership of finance function design, build scalable systems, work on complex multi-entity accounting, and make a direct impact on financial strategy and execution in a high-growth, founder-led environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Foundation in finance & accounting with ability to handle month-end close for multiple entities
- • Experience preparing consolidated and entity-level financial reporting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
- • Experience with tax coordination including sales tax/VAT calculations and corporate filings across Canada, US, and EU
- • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to identify problems and test hypotheses
- • Self-starter mindset with founder-level ownership — comfortable taking initiative without waiting for direction
- • Interest in building automation and scalable systems using modern tools and AI to reduce manual work
