📋 Description

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes for a 35-person technology company.
• Manage accruals and prepayments with precision and timeliness.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of all account balances to ensure financial integrity.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized financial documentation for internal and external audit purposes.
• Liaise directly with external auditors during audit cycles and provide requested financial data.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payments accurately and within established timelines.
• Assist with customer invoicing processes, ensuring billing accuracy and timely revenue recognition.
• Handle ad-hoc financial and operational tasks as required to support company growth.
• Work independently as one of two members of the Business Operations team with full ownership of financial operations.
• Contribute to scaling financial systems and processes as the company expands into new markets.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal policies while adapting to evolving business needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across engineering, sales, and customer success to support financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records using digital tools and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed to support strategic planning.
• Represent the finance function with professionalism and clarity in all internal and external communications.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
• Embrace a hands-on approach to financial operations in a scaling SaaS company.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a finance or accounting position
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently independently and as a team
• Keen to learn and develop
• Friendly, proactive and positive nature
