• • **Revenue & Collections Operations:** You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of billing and invoicing processes. This includes setting up new clients, generating accurate and timely invoices, and ensuring all billing aligns perfectly with contractual agreements and operational data. A key part of this will be owning the accounts receivable (AR) process, diligently following up on outstanding payments, and escalating persistent issues in close collaboration with the Sales and Customer Success teams. Your objective will be to continuously refine these processes, minimizing delays, reducing errors, and automating manual tasks to enhance efficiency and cash flow.
• • **Spend, Payments & Expense Management:** This role entails the direct execution and scheduling of all vendor and payroll payments, ensuring accuracy, punctuality, and efficient cash outflow management. You will define, implement, and maintain clear approval workflows for all payments and expenses, guaranteeing that every transaction is properly authorized, traceable, and meticulously documented. Furthermore, you will oversee the entire expense management lifecycle, from policy clarity and updates to the approval of reimbursements and the management of associated tooling. You will maintain a vigilant overview of all vendor, software, and employee expenses, actively monitoring trends, identifying anomalies, and supporting strategic decisions regarding renewals, cancellations, and overall spend rationalization.
• • **Cash & Liquidity Management:** A critical aspect of this role is maintaining a crystal-clear view of the company's cash position across all accounts. You will actively manage liquidity to ensure that payroll, operational expenses, and all financial obligations are met promptly and without interruption. This includes developing and maintaining a short-term cash outlook (typically a 1-3 month horizon) and proactively flagging any potential risks or shortfalls to leadership. You will provide essential operational insights to support leadership in making informed cash management decisions, including considerations around timing, structuring, foreign exchange (FX), and cash placement strategies.
• • **Financial Data, Reporting & Model Hygiene:** You will play a key role in maintaining accurate monthly financial reporting by diligently updating inputs in existing trackers and financial models. This involves validating internal consistency, proactively identifying and rectifying errors or exceptions, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, reliable internal finance trackers and source-of-truth datasets, which will enable regular internal reporting on cash, collections, and expenses, broken down by department and category. A crucial part of this will be reconciling internal financial views with outputs from our external accounting firm and thoroughly investigating any discrepancies.
• • **Accounting, Compliance & Structural Finance Support:** You will serve as the primary liaison with our external accounting firm. This involves ensuring they have timely access to accurate data, meticulously tracking their deliverables, and aligning their accounting outputs with our internal financial perspectives. You will also own the operational execution of tax-related matters, such as sales tax, VAT, certificates, and exemptions, ensuring the correct tax treatment on invoices in coordination with our external accountants. As ScorePlay scales, you will support critical entity-related initiatives, including entity creation, the mechanics of inter-company cost allocation, and tax optimization strategies.

You will also contribute to the selection and implementation of new finance tools as the company's needs evolve. Your role will involve continuously identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, or potential risks within our finance operations. You will be empowered to document, automate, and improve these finance processes and tooling to systematically build a scalable, reliable, and robust finance operating system over time. Strong collaboration with RevOps, People Operations, and Legal teams will be essential to streamline finance-related workflows and manage data dependencies effectively.
