📋 Description

• As Finance & Operations Manager at Neurons Lab, you will own the full financial lifecycle of a fast-moving AI company, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations that directly enable strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. This is not a support role — you will be the financial backbone of the organization, responsible for end-to-end processes with real autonomy and impact.
• Day to day, you will: oversee invoicing, billing, and payment processing to ensure 100% accuracy and issuance within 48 hours of trigger; prepare and deliver monthly P&L, cash flow statements, and budget vs actuals reports by Day 10, with zero material errors requiring post-close rework; manage cash flow forecasting to maintain ≥90% accuracy monthly and provide clear runway visibility for leadership; own bookkeeping oversight and ensure clean, synchronized data across finance tools like QuickBooks and HubSpot; coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to guarantee 0 compliance issues in tax filings, regulatory reporting, and contractual financial obligations; support contract review by validating pricing, margins, and payment terms against company standards; actively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, finance automation platforms) to improve efficiency and accuracy in routine financial tasks; and continuously improve financial processes through systems thinking and standardization efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or finance operations roles
• Proven experience owning end-to-end finance processes (invoicing, reporting, cash flow, bookkeeping) in a small or mid-sized company
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow management, with preference for QuickBooks experience
• Ability to work independently in a remote, async-friendly environment with high attention to detail and an ownership mindset
• Basic understanding of contract structures (SoW, MSAs) and commercial terms to support contract review
• Experience collaborating with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to ensure compliance and timely filings
