- • The Finance Program Manager serves as a key financial, analytical, and technical resource supporting enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and value-based performance management for Bon Secours Mercy Health, a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to improving community well-being.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading system-wide annual budget processes and quarterly reforecasts, providing monthly close support, implementing financial system enhancements, analyzing healthcare claims and contract datasets, developing executive dashboards and KPI reporting, supporting value-based contract modeling, conducting data validation and audit preparation, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- • The role operates within the Finance Operations - Core department, collaborating with corporate finance, local markets, population health entities, IT/analytics teams, physicians, and senior leadership to align financial reporting, performance management, and compliance requirements across the enterprise.
- • The position offers the opportunity to lead complex financial initiatives, deepen expertise in healthcare finance and value-based care analytics, master financial planning applications and BI tools, and influence strategic decision-making that impacts operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or related field (required)
- • 5 years’ experience in healthcare finance, accounting, actuarial/insurance analytics, value-based care analytics, or related fields (required)
- • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or other BI tools), Excel, and relational databases (required)
- • Experience working with healthcare claims, eligibility, and financial datasets (required)
- • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) (preferred)
- • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Informatics, or related discipline (preferred)
