- • As Finance & Strategy Director for Merchant at Deliveroo, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer and Merchant leadership, shaping pricing strategy, optimising merchant economics, and delivering data-driven insights to support complex, high-value negotiations in a rapidly scaling business now integrated with DoorDash.
- • You will lead and scale the Merchant F&S team, own commercial impact in major contract negotiations, build innovative pricing frameworks, drive DoorDash financial integration, embed AI in financial workflows, ensure financial rigour in planning and reporting, and deliver cross-functional impact across Finance, Product, Operations, and regional teams.
- • You will join a high-performing Finance team at Deliveroo Holdings plc, now part of DoorDash, operating from The River Building HQ in London, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do as we transform how people shop and eat.
- • You will develop leadership and strategic influence at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy, gain exposure to global scale operations through DoorDash integration, and build expertise in AI-enabled financial workflows while advancing your career in a fast-moving, values-driven organisation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional Qualification: ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification is a plus
- • Significant proven experience within a high-growth startup or relevant fast-paced industry environment
- • Strong ability to use big data to solve complex problems and drive commercial decision-making
- • Highly proficient in building robust, spreadsheet-based financial models to forecast and analyse business performance
- • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, particularly non-finance leaders, at a strategic level
