📋 Description

• As a Finance & Strategy Manager at Hopper, you will act as a 'Finance Engineer' who builds the systems that power financial decision-making across B2C, Media, and Sales verticals, moving beyond static reporting to create AI-accelerated, code-based financial infrastructure.
• Your day-to-day will involve business partnering with leaders to translate operational drivers into automated metrics, architecting long-range forecasting models using AI and SQL, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines in BigQuery, and designing automated GTM frameworks to track sales velocity, CAC, and pipeline health for strategic alignment.
• You will join Hopper’s Finance and Strategy team within a fast-growing, pre-IPO travel fintech leader where HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) drives over 75% of the business, partnering with global brands like Capital One, Air Canada, and Nubank to deliver embedded travel fintech solutions.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-augmented financial engineering, master advanced SQL and LLM-assisted workflow automation, and gain strategic impact by shaping 3–5-year financial roadmaps while working with cutting-edge fintech and travel data at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
• 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong fluency working independently with SQL and large-scale transactional datasets
• Proven track record of using Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot to amplify output
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work autonomously; builder mindset
• Proven track record in FP&A or Strategic Finance supporting Sales and Media teams
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with strong modeling experience
