📋 Description

• • Own the monthly financial close for Technology & Product, ensuring every accrual is precise and every variance is investigated. You will reconcile complex data sets, surface root-cause insights, and present findings to leadership within tight deadlines so that strategic pivots can be made in real time.
• • Act as the primary finance partner to VPs of Engineering, Product, and Design. In weekly business reviews you will translate budget vs. actual results into plain-English narratives, spotlighting which roadmap bets are paying off and which need re-scoping before the next sprint.
• • Architect and continuously refine a driver-based forecast model that links customer growth metrics to AWS hosting costs. Your model will be the single source of truth used by the CFO to negotiate annual cloud-commit contracts and by Product to decide when to sunset legacy features.
• • Manage the full headcount and vendor spend forecast for a 500+ person R&D organization. You will partner with HR on offer approvals, with Procurement on contract renewals, and with Engineering on contractor vs. FTE trade-offs to keep burn aligned with ARR targets.
• • Build ROI analyses for every major product investment—new AI agents, integrations, or pricing tiers—and socialize the results in concise one-pagers that influence go/no-go decisions at the Executive Leadership Team level.
• • Support the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly Board packages. You will own the Tech & Product section of the Board deck, distilling millions of data points into a story that shows how R&D spend converts to customer acquisition, retention, and expansion revenue.
• • Develop and maintain scalable financial systems. Whether automating a NetSuite upload, creating a Looker dashboard for sprint-level cost visibility, or piloting an AI tool to predict cloud overruns, you will leave every process better than you found it.
• • Champion a culture of fiscal responsibility across squads and tribes. By running lunch-and-learns on unit economics and embedding finance liaisons in each product area, you will make every engineer think like a P&L owner.
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Data, Revenue Operations, and Investor Relations to ensure GAAP compliance, accurate SaaS metrics, and seamless audit support.
• • Stay curious—test new FP&A technologies, attend industry meetups, and bring back best practices that keep ActiveCampaign two steps ahead in financial rigor and speed.
