- • The Financial Analyst analyzes and models financial data, interprets results, and recommends actions to help meet organizational goals, focusing on forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, reporting, and managing billing to support financial operations across projects and units.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering financial information to management by collecting and synthesizing data, modeling scenarios, producing reports, presenting analyses and recommendations, forecasting project support levels, preparing monthly performance reports, explaining variances, assisting in determining financial consequences of alternative methods, developing and managing annual budgets for operating expenses.
- • The role involves driving adoption of advanced tools like Power BI and Power Query to build dashboards and automate workflows, with potential for developing AI-driven models for financial data analysis, and helping to deliver end-to-end initiatives that modernize financial operations, improve transparency, and strengthen performance management.
- • The Financial Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with federal financial policies and audit readiness, while optimizing financial management structures by developing or transforming business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, improving transparency and performance management, and complying with Federal laws and regulations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or four additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- • Seven or more years of experience in financial analysis, budget formulation, and budget execution, including financial modeling and problem-solving to support senior management decisions
- • Hands-on experience with data analytics and automation applied to financial management use cases
- • In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles
- • Strong communication and project management capabilities; ability to synthesize complex information and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments
- • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance
