📋 Description

• Analyze and reconcile actual technology and vendor spend against approved budgets and forecasts, identifying material variances, drivers, and associated financial risks
• Examine spend, usage, quantity, and pricing trends across strategic vendors and technology services to uncover optimization opportunities
• Support strategic vendor renewals by developing cost models, conducting quantity analysis, performing scenario planning, and delivering data-driven financial recommendations
• Build business cases and financial models to guide vendor selection, cost reduction initiatives, and capital investment decisions
• Translate complex cost data, contract terms, and consumption patterns into clear, decision-ready insights for executive leadership
• Identify emerging cost trends, financial risks, and inefficiencies across technology contracts and service agreements
• Support the preparation and delivery of budget and forecast performance reports specific to technology and vendor expenditures
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and vendor management to align financial analysis with operational needs
• Ensure financial recommendations are grounded in accurate data, transparent assumptions, and actionable insights for leadership
• Maintain up-to-date financial models that reflect current pricing structures, usage patterns, and market conditions for cloud and SaaS technologies
• Communicate financial findings and recommendations effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the organization
• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to model large datasets, perform scenario analysis, and automate reporting processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes related to technology spend management and vendor cost governance

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, FinOps, or related roles
• Experience with forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including modeling large datasets and scenario analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
