This pivotal role, reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, Category Management, is a fully remote position within the United States, offering a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a rapidly growing public company.
• • As a Financial Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of category P&L management, taking full ownership of financial models and revenue forecasts. Your responsibilities will extend to developing sophisticated models for new product launches and strategic pricing decisions, providing critical support for ad-hoc strategic finance initiatives, managing essential financial systems, and meticulously calculating customer lifetime value.
• • You will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and fully owning the revenue and contribution margin forecasts for multiple key business lines. This involves a deep dive into financial performance, identifying trends, and projecting future outcomes with accuracy and foresight.
• • Acting as a trusted advisor to category directors and cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for synthesizing complex financial data into actionable insights. You will develop and present comprehensive analyses, equipping business leaders with the most current information to inform their understanding of both short-term financial standing and long-term strategic positioning.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves owning customer lifetime value (CLTV) models. You will become the subject matter expert on the unit economics of your assigned business lines, guiding leadership’s understanding and decision-making processes to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
• • You will construct and manage robust frameworks designed to evaluate the size, potential impact, and prioritization of competing strategic initiatives. This requires a keen analytical mind and the ability to assess opportunities objectively.
• • A core function of your day-to-day will be to regularly build complex Excel or Google Sheet models from scratch. These models will be designed to solve specific business problems or answer intricate financial questions, requiring a high degree of technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
