• • Leads product assignments including product pricing, profitability analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling to support product development and modernization initiatives.
• • Acts as a trusted business partner by providing proactive financial analysis and insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
• • Interacts directly with senior management and company leadership, promoting innovation, productivity, and alignment with USAA’s mission and operating state.
• • Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of USAA’s business, products, and processes, serving as a subject matter resource for team members on escalated financial issues.
• • Ensures all financial activities comply with regulatory and compliance policies, identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling associated business risks.
• • Applies advanced financial modeling techniques to analyze income, profitability, liquidity, capital, leverage, asset and liability management, and operating expenses.
• • Mentors junior team members in executing complex financial processes and analysis in alignment with financial principles and organizational standards.
• • Produces detailed financial reports and translates data into clear, actionable business recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
• • Maintains strict adherence to GAAP standards and financial regulations in all reporting and analytical activities.
• • Utilizes Microsoft Excel extensively for significant financial data analysis, modeling, and reporting tasks.
