- • As a Financial Clearance Coordinator at Expressable Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring clients receive timely access to speech therapy services by managing insurance verification, prior authorizations, and billing readiness—directly supporting the company’s mission to expand access to high-quality virtual care.
- • Your work will ensure clean claim submissions and financial compliance, reducing delays in care and supporting revenue integrity across a rapidly growing, fully remote healthcare organization serving thousands of clients nationwide.
- • Day to day, you will verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new and existing clients, ensuring accurate coverage documentation before services begin.
- • You will manage the prior authorization process end-to-end, including submitting requests, tracking approvals, and maintaining complete billing documentation in alignment with payer guidelines.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for client financial readiness, proactively communicating with clients and internal teams to resolve insurance-related questions and prevent scheduling delays.
- • You will monitor claim submissions, identify and resolve denials or rejections quickly, and escalate complex payer issues to ensure timely reimbursement and continuity of care.
- • You will collaborate closely with Client Services, Clinical, and Operations teams to align financial clearance with scheduling and session readiness, ensuring a seamless client journey.
- • You will maintain meticulous records in EHR and billing systems, ensuring all documentation meets HIPAA, compliance, and company policy standards.
- • You will identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience in a fast-paced, remote environment.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, gain proficiency with multiple payer systems (commercial, Medicaid, Medicare), and develop strong skills in EHR navigation, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration—positioning you for growth in healthcare operations or administration.

🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
- • 2–4 years of experience in medical insurance verification, prior authorization, or healthcare billing/revenue cycle operations
- • Experience working with multiple payers, including commercial insurance, Medicaid and Medicare
- • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), billing systems, or practice management software (e.g., Candid, Athena, Kareo)
- • Telehealth and multi-state healthcare experience strongly preferred
- • Strong understanding of insurance benefits, authorizations, and claims processes
- • Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance standards, and payer regulations
- • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret payer responses and resolve issues independently
- • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills; customer-service oriented
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, remote environment
- • Proficiency with spreadsheets, shared documents, and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable)
