- • Support the end-to-end order-to-cash process for global customers, ensuring accuracy in contract review, purchase order validation, and financial system entries.
- • Conduct final reviews of sales deals to verify completeness and compliance with company Booking Policies, cross-referencing Salesforce (SFDC) quote and order data with contractual agreements, POs, and approvals.
- • Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to interpret deal terms and ensure alignment with internal policies and process guidelines.
- • Ensure accurate reporting of deal metrics to support company performance analysis and forecasting.
- • Manage the invoicing and collections lifecycle for U.S. and international customers, maintaining timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regional regulations.
- • Post daily payments and apply cash receipts to customer accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain clean receivables.
- • Prepare and reconcile trial balance accounts and post journal entries during monthly and quarterly financial closes.
- • Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to identify workflow gaps, resolve data discrepancies, and drive process improvements in order processing, billing, and collections.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and customer billing inquiries, providing clear, timely, and professional communication.
- • Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities by delivering accurate, well-documented reports and audit-ready materials.
- • Assist in ad-hoc finance projects, including audits, reporting, and system-related initiatives requiring precision and attention to detail.
- • Apply First Principles Problem Solving to simplify complex billing workflows and enhance scalability of order management processes.
- • Adopt an AI-First mindset to contribute to automation efforts that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy in financial operations.
- • Demonstrate Change Agility by adapting to evolving systems, compliance requirements, and process updates within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- • Work in EST time zone while based in HackerOne’s Pune, India office; in-office presence is mandatory with no remote options available.
- • Maintain strict adherence to GAAP principles and ensure proper application of foreign exchange rate handling in multi-currency transactions.
- • Utilize advanced Excel skills, including V-LOOKUP and pivot tables, to analyze data, prepare reports, and support financial accuracy across systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- • 3+ years of experience in billing, order management, or financial operations
- • Proven experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and experience with other sales/customer procurement systems such as Coupa or Ariba
- • Strong proficiency in Excel (V-LOOKUP, pivot tables)
- • Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations
- • Understanding and application of GAAP principles and multi-currency transactions
