📋 Description

• • Manage the end-to-end "Quote-to-Cash" lifecycle for expert consultations, ensuring sales contracts are accurately reflected in billing systems and project margins are maintained.
• • Reconcile high-volume transaction data between expert hours logged and client billing to prevent revenue leakage and ensure marketplace financial integrity.
• • Serve as the primary financial operations liaison for Sales and Account Management teams, resolving billing disputes, custom pricing requests, and credit issues with clarity and urgency.
• • Identify inefficiencies in billing and payment workflows, then collaborate with tech and product teams to automate manual data entry tasks and improve reporting accuracy.
• • Own Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, managing collections with a customer-success approach to maintain professional relationships with high-profile clients while minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• • Prepare and distribute weekly KPI reports on revenue pacing, consultant compensation spend, and operational efficiency for leadership review and decision-making.
• • Monitor financial data integrity across sales, client, and expert records, catching discrepancies as small as $0.50 per transaction before they compound at scale.
• • Translate complex financial concepts into accessible language for non-finance teams, enabling clear communication with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success stakeholders.
• • Build and maintain advanced Excel models using VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and other functions to track revenue streams, expenses, and operational metrics.
• • Act as a proactive problem-solver, not just identifying issues but proposing at least three viable solutions to improve workflows, reduce errors, and increase scalability.
• • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and external contractual obligations across all transactions involving expert payments and client invoicing.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial operations systems by documenting processes, standardizing formats, and escalating systemic challenges to the Head of Finance and Operations.
• • Maintain accurate records of all client and expert payment agreements, adjustments, and exceptions in alignment with company financial policies.
• • Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities by providing timely, accurate data inputs for revenue recognition and expense tracking.
• • Stay informed about marketplace dynamics and adjust financial operations tactics to align with company growth targets and product launches.
• • Work directly with Legal and Compliance teams to verify contract terms before billing and ensure all financial transactions adhere to regulatory and contractual requirements.
• • Partner with Customer Success to resolve payment-related client concerns while preserving long-term customer relationships.
• • Uphold a data-driven, detail-oriented approach to all financial operations tasks, recognizing that precision at the micro-level drives macro-level financial health.
• • Operate with ownership and initiative in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, adapting quickly to evolving priorities and high-volume transaction flows.
