- • Provides support and service for the Investment Operations function of BMO’s business stakeholders and customers, executing and delivering on investment product and service processes while ensuring adherence to financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines.
- • Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards; supports change management activities; functions as a problem-solving resource for junior staff; organizes work information for accuracy and completeness.
- • Executes routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, and queries within service level agreements; provides accurate and timely processing of transactions in compliance with regulatory and risk controls.
- • Checks and reconciles information and documentation; analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations; identifies and resolves issues or escalates as required.
- • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders; develops and maintains effective relationships to fulfill service delivery expectations.
- • Develops and maintains understanding of regulatory requirements and risks; collaborates in the development and implementation of new processes/systems and improvements to existing ones.
- • Supports development of tools and delivery of training focused on delivering business results; completes complex and diverse tasks within given rules/limits, including handling escalations.
- • Takes measured risks while protecting the bank by applying BMO’s Risk Management Framework, making sound, risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and approved Risk Appetite.
🎯 Requirements
- • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- • Good knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology.
- • Good knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes, and controls.
- • Good knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business.
- • Good prioritization, customer service, PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration and team, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
