  • • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for healthcare customers throughout the entire partnership lifecycle, from onboarding to production roll-out.
  • • Conduct discovery calls with new customers to understand their use cases, technical requirements, and success criteria for integrating Metriport’s data intelligence platform.
  • • Participate in weekly syncs with onboarding customers to ensure successful integration of Metriport into their workflows and ongoing delivery of value.
  • • Provide ongoing technical support by answering questions about product capabilities, API integrations, and implementation best practices.
  • • Troubleshoot and debug customer-reported issues, often collaborating directly with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • • Manage customer requests and issues by assessing priority, coordinating cross-functionally with engineering, tracking resolution progress, and communicating updates to customers.
  • • Proactively communicate relevant product updates, new feature releases, and enhancements aligned with customer use cases and feedback.
  • • Attend daily 30-minute remote stand-ups at 7:30am PST Monday through Friday, the only mandatory recurring meeting.
  • • Participate in bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives, as well as quarterly strategic planning sessions to align customer needs with product roadmap.
  • • Manage and maintain APIs and integrations to ensure seamless, reliable functionality for customers across diverse healthcare IT environments.
  • • Work directly with customers from initial onboarding through sustained production use, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term satisfaction.
  • • Act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, translating customer feedback into actionable product insights.
  • • Rapidly ramp up using comprehensive onboarding materials to gain familiarity with Metriport’s codebase, domain, and healthcare data standards.
  • • Operate with high autonomy and ownership, focusing on delivering tangible customer value over adherence to specific technologies or processes.
  • • Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset by challenging project timelines and asking how deliverables can be achieved faster without compromising quality.
  • • Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
  • • Contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing by documenting solutions, common issues, and customer insights for broader organizational benefit.
  • • Embrace a hacker mentality—understand when to follow established practices and when to creatively break rules to solve customer problems effectively.
  • • Prioritize outcomes and customer impact over technological novelty, focusing on what works to deliver real-world healthcare data solutions.
  • • Work in a high-autonomy, engineering-heavy culture with minimal bureaucracy, where competence and output are valued over pedigree or title.
  • • Collaborate with a team of mostly former founders, including YC alumni, in a fast-paced environment that values sustainable intensity and results-driven work.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years experience supporting software implementation
  • • Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • • Located in San Francisco or the Bay Area (or willing to relocate)
  • • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HIPAA, FHIR, HIE, IHE, EHR/EMR, NPI, TEFCA, ADT, HL7, HEDIS, RAF, SNOMED, LOINC, or ICD-10 is a plus
