📋 Description

• As a Forward Deployed Engineer – Product Focus at Titan AI Inc., you will be embedded directly within banking clients to co-own strategic outcomes by understanding their workflows, regulatory constraints, and business goals, then translating ambiguous problems into testable hypotheses and shipping durable, client-facing AI solutions.
• Your day-to-day involves moving between executive conversations, product decisions, and hands-on building — from wireframing interfaces and prototyping with Chief Credit Officers to shipping full-stack iterations before sign-off, while owning product scope, sequencing, UX decisions, and agentic workflows end-to-end.
• You’ll join a small, pre-Series A team founded by alumni from Goldman Sachs, KeyBank, and the OCC, building purpose-built AI for 4,000+ U.S. banks through Titan Foundry, Banking-Reasoning Models, and Banking Agents, with a mission to bring secure, domain-specific AI to the two million people working in banking.
• In this role, you’ll deepen your product and UX instincts, gain fluency in regulated industries like banking, insurance, or healthcare, and learn to codify field insights into reusable platform patterns — turning client-specific builds into durable contributions that shape Titan’s core product and engineering direction.

🎯 Requirements

• Builder-first mindset with a bias to ship — demonstrated through self-taught coding, career switches into engineering, or consistent side project delivery.
• Strong product and UX instinct, including sketching, prototyping, and continuously thinking about how products could be improved.
• Fluent or fluent-curious in banking or comparable regulated B2B contexts (e.g., risk, lending, compliance, payments, insurance, healthcare, defense, or energy).
• Client-ready communication skills: experience sitting across from senior stakeholders, disagreeing constructively, asking probing questions, and keeping discussions moving.
• Comfort owning workstreams independently — able to run multi-stakeholder engagements without heavyweight PM processes.
• Hypothesis-driven approach: confident in committing to opinions, yet humble enough to pivot when evidence contradicts them.
• Technical foundation in prompt and context engineering, full-stack development (Python/TypeScript/React preferred), and hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, DeepAgents, Claude/OpenAI SDKs).
• Familiarity with agent search patterns (vector/vectorless RAG, file search), eval/training loops for AI agents, and AI security primitives (observability, data controls, model gateways).
