- • The Forward Deployed Process Consultant bridges executive strategy with operational execution, translating business needs into technical solutions while driving process optimization in healthcare revenue cycle environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting current state assessments, mapping processes, designing implementation and stakeholder communication plans, creating product vision documents and roadmaps, and providing technical and operational guidance throughout client engagements.
- • The role involves designing end-user training and change management plans, developing KPI and SLA monitoring mechanisms, analyzing and optimizing medical coding workflows using AI, and collaborating with executive teams to align coding processes with strategic objectives.
- • As a liaison between leadership and operational teams, the consultant ensures seamless communication, drives adoption of best practices, and travels up to 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders across healthcare organizations.
- • The position offers the opportunity to work with a global team of revenue cycle professionals and advanced technology platforms including analytics, AI, intelligent automation, and workflow orchestration to transform hospital financial performance and patient experience.
- • Consultants will gain deep expertise in healthcare metrics, process optimization, ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines, and reimbursement methodologies while serving as change champions in complex healthcare environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in healthcare client-facing consulting
- • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
- • Proficiency in data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving
- • Significant experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support
- • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methodologies
- • AAPC or AHIMA certification (CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT) required for mid-cycle coding consultancy
