- • The Forward Deployed Process Engineer Lead at R1 RCM Inc. plays a critical role in bridging executive-level strategy with operational execution by optimizing healthcare revenue cycle processes and driving technology-enabled solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include quantifying business cases for use cases, designing and optimizing consulting delivery processes, leading and mentoring Solution Consultants, collaborating on product roadmaps and future state process flows, supporting training and change management, providing technical and operational leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, evaluating emerging opportunities, engaging customers with data-driven insights, ensuring issue resolution and continuous improvement, and supporting KPI/SLA monitoring mechanisms.
- • The role involves up to 50% travel to engage with clients and stakeholders across the U.S.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including hospital billing (HB) and professional billing (PB) follow-up, denials, and coding.
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
- • Significant experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support.
- • Proficiency with AI tools and enthusiasm for integrating technology with operations.
- • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methodologies.
- • AAPC or AHIMA certification (CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT) preferred.
