📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end creation of ShookAI, our brand-new self-serve platform that will let thousands of advertisers replicate the same high-performing video campaigns we currently deliver as a managed service for Amex, Bolt, and Delivery Hero. You’ll be the first engineer 100 % dedicated to this product, giving you founder-level influence over architecture, stack, and roadmap.
• Translate the proven “Shook Method” into a delightful, AI-native workflow: from brief → creative concept → asset generation → campaign launch → real-time performance analytics. Every screen, API call, and prompt chain will carry your fingerprints.
• Rapidly prototype and ship MVPs in days, not weeks. We expect you to spin up a clickable Next.js/React front-end, wire it to a Node/Python back-end, and plug in OpenAI/Anthropic/ElevenLabs endpoints so that internal teams and pilot customers can start testing within the first 30 days.
• Architect a scalable, multi-tenant system that ingests TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Ads APIs, stores terabytes of creative performance data, and surfaces actionable insights through LLM-powered natural-language queries. You decide whether we go serverless, containerised, or hybrid—no legacy baggage.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding (Cursor, Claude Code, custom agents) to move at 3× normal velocity. You’ll dog-food every new AI dev tool and share best practices with the wider team, turning Shook into a case study for AI-accelerated engineering.
• Build a modular prompt & model registry so that prompts, fine-tuned models, and evaluation datasets can be versioned, A/B tested, and rolled back without downtime. This will become the backbone of our AI quality assurance as we scale.
• Design elegant UX patterns for non-technical marketers: drag-and-drop brief builders, one-click “generate 50 hooks”, instant storyboard previews, and plain-English performance summaries. Your UI choices will directly impact how comfortable a CMO feels trusting AI with their million-euro budget.
• Instrument everything—feature flags, event tracking, error budgets—so we can iterate safely and measure impact. You’ll set the observability culture that future hires inherit.
• Collaborate daily with the CEO, PM, and creative strategists in Helsinki (or via Slack/Zoom if remote). Expect white-board sessions, user-journey mapping, and occasional late-night pushes when a campaign goes viral.
• Lay the groundwork for the next 3–5 engineers you’ll help recruit. Write onboarding docs, define code-review rituals, and decide whether we adopt a monorepo or micro-services. Management is optional; technical leadership is not.
• Champion security and compliance from day one (GDPR, SOC-2, brand-safety filters). You’ll own the pen-testing schedule and vendor-risk reviews so enterprise clients can adopt ShookAI without red tape.
• Stay on the bleeding edge: evaluate new diffusion-video models, test GPT-4o vision for thumbnail scoring, and prototype voice-cloning for localisation. If it can give our users an unfair creative advantage, you’ll be the first to hack it into the product.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years shipping production-grade SaaS or creative tools, ideally in TypeScript/React, Next.js, Node.js, or Python.
• Demonstrated experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs into user-facing features (show us the repo or demo).
• Proven ability to build and launch an MVP solo—ideation to live users in <4 weeks.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration; prior startup or 0→1 product experience strongly preferred.
• Based in Helsinki or remote within EU time zones, with willingness to travel to HQ for onboarding and quarterly offsites.
