  • • As the founding Enterprise Business Development Representative at SmithRx, you will be the front line of the go-to-market motion, responsible for generating qualified pipeline with large enterprise self-funded employers, benefits consultants/brokers, and strategic channel partners. Your work will directly support the company’s mission to disrupt the inefficient Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector by building a next-generation drug acquisition platform that delivers transparent, pass-through pricing and cost-saving solutions to hundreds of thousands of members nationwide.
  • • Day to day, you will own the top-of-funnel sales motion by creating the BDR playbook for outbound prospecting, sourcing new sales opportunities through targeted outreach and inbound qualification, and growing pipeline via warm and outbound campaigns. You will conduct rigorous discovery to uncover PBM challenges, member pain points, renewal timelines, and decision criteria; personalize outreach at scale in partnership with Marketing and Sales VPs; research target accounts; and maintain meticulous CRM hygiene, activity logging, and forecasting to ensure visibility across the Go-To-Market team.
  • • SmithRx is a rapidly growing, venture-backed Health-Tech company with a mission-driven, collaborative culture rooted in integrity, courage, and togetherness. You will work closely with Marketing, the Proposals Team, the Community team, and Enterprise Account Executives to align on messaging, execute sequences, and convert interest into high-quality meetings. As a founding member of the BDR function, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the outbound sales playbook from the ground up.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in PBM mechanics, employer benefits landscapes, and enterprise sales cycles while honing your skills in consultative outreach, data-driven experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will build repeatable processes, establish broker/partner-sourced pipeline, and contribute directly to SmithRx’s growth trajectory—positioning yourself for advancement into enterprise sales leadership or specialized roles in health tech go-to-market strategy.
