📋 Description

• As an FP&A Analyst at Watershed Technology, Inc., you will own the corporate financial model and serve as the primary finance partner to Product, Business Foundation, and Executive teams, playing a critical role in shaping financial strategy for a mission-driven sustainability platform used by global enterprises.
• Day to day, you will own the integrated 3-statement financial model, build rolling forecasts, lead short- and long-range financial planning, partner with Engineering and Product teams to drive R&D efficiencies, collaborate with Customer teams on resource allocation and gross margin optimization, build cash forecasts with RevOps and Accounting, manage headcount and OPEX planning, own Gross Margin % as a key metric, support corporate and board reporting, and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives like pricing, M&A, and market expansion.
• Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform helping companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for CSRD and other regulations, and drive real decarbonization, with offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote teams across the US and Europe.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SaaS financial modeling and strategic finance, gain exposure to cross-functional leadership at a high-growth startup, influence capital allocation decisions impacting aggressive growth targets, and develop advanced business partnering skills by translating complex financial insights into actionable strategy for non-finance leaders.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking/Private Equity
• At least 2+ years operating inside a high-growth B2B SaaS company (Series B/C/D stage preferred)
• Experience with financial modeling, consolidations, P&L management, forecasting, Budget vs Actuals, and annual/long-range planning
• Deep understanding of enterprise software metrics and recurring revenue business models
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial leaders and push back strategically
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from CRMs (Salesforce), ERPs (NetSuite), and HRIS systems (Rippling)
